My Academic Goal
M - To measure my progress in science I will keep all my quizzes and tests to see my progress, as well as studying and making sure I am on track. I can keep track of all the work I do and it will help me with what I understand and what I don't. Science is a big priority for me so it will be easy to keep track.
A - To reach this goal I need to stay on track, and pay attention in class to make sure I understand everything. I will ask questions when I need help and review my work so I don't forget what I have learned over time. I am good in chemistry, however I need to improve in physics and biology. When I am learning those units I will pay extra attention and make sure nothing is distracting me. Doing good in midterms will also help me because I will know how much more harder I need to work, and how much time I need to spend on science.
R - This is an important goal for me because I need to be strong in science since that is what I want to go into in the future. I am not that good in science so therefore I need to improve. I want to become a doctor and science is the main subject that I need to focus on to help me achieve my other goal of being a doctor.
T - I want to get an 87 in science by the end of this grade 10 semester. I will do really good on midterms in order to achieve and bump by mark by the end of this school year during exam time.
My Volunteering goal
M - To measure my progress I will keep track of when I go, and how many hours I earn. This will help me to reach my goal, and maybe even earn more hours than I planned. Every time I go I plan on getting 4 hours, and slowly it will add up to 80 in the next two years. I can also keep track of any other volunteer work that I do and that might get me more hours.
A - To reach this goal I need to keep going volunteering at the seniors home on a routine in order to reach 80 hours. I will have to be committed to be the volunteer work to achieve this goal. I will need to take time out of my week and volunteer there so I can slowly build up to my goal. I will need to stay motivated and on track so get 80 hours at the seniors home.
R - This is an important goal because it is important to help volunteer, it makes you a good person yourself and you are helping out in the community. especially working in the senior home because they do not get a lot of attention and it makes them happy when kids come around to help. I also need to get 40 volunteer hours in order to graduate high school and this goal will help me in doing so.
T - By this year my goal is to get at least 40 hours done, so that way I am half way done my goal and all I will need for the next two years is another 40 hours. I will do 20 more hours in grade 11, and then 20 more hours in grade 12. This way I am not doing them all at once and I have time to do other things, and stay on track with my school work as well.
