Kindergarten News
March 30-April 3
Students in Kindergarten should be spending about an hour on "homeschooling". This would include any time spent on arts and crafts, etc. The hour can be broken up into 15 minute or 30 minute intervals if you wish. Do whatever works for your family!
The website wideopenschool.org is a free site that has collaborated all the best materials and resources into one place. It is broken up into folders and it's very easy to navigate. I highly recommend it!
Our next Zoom meeting will be on Thursday at 2:00. I will send a code once we are ready. I feel our attention span will keep the meeting to around 15 minutes. Join if you can. This is not mandatory. Our topic this week will be show and tell. Any letter! Can't wait to see your faces again!
I want to leave you with the Remind I sent last week. I'm including it in the newsletter as some are not on Remind. Can't wait until we are all back under one roof again!
" Before you pick up your packets today I want you to know that you are doing a great job. I don’t expect you to get it all done and that’s OK. Do what you can. Please don’t make it stressful. I know this is hard for all parents right now. As a mom of 4 I’m feeling it too. If your kids feel safe and loved, you’re doing great! That’s most important right now." Mrs. Wilkinson
