Principal's Message
Hopefully this message finds you safe, well, and in good spirits. On behalf of The Lake Ridge Nation, thanks a bunch for the love shown during Teacher and Nurse Appreciation Week. I can share with you that our faculty members have high expectations and challenge scholars, and they aim to support them every step of the way as they learn to take ownership of their learning as scholars. This is all while factoring in their academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth. If you forgot to send something, it is not too late to send an email of thanks.
May 18-22, 2020 has been designated as the week to return items to the campus and pick up personal belongings. Detailed information that explains the process and how to sign up is included on below in the newsletter.
In an effort to get all assignments graded in a timely manner, this week (May 11-15) will be the last for our teachers assigning graded work. May 18-22 will feature various enrichment opportunities and opportunities to submit missing work. We also wanted to be mindful that some scholars may have limited access with the district-issued devices being returned.
Remember that "The Race for Excellence has No Finish Line", so let's keep going strong as we aim to grow continuously.

Scholar Item Pick-Up/Return
May 18-22, 2020, parents will be able to come to the campus to pick up personal belongings and consumables that belong to scholars that remain on campus. Spring pictures and proofs that have been received will also be available (the smiles and poses are amazing). If you have questions about items in the classroom, contact your child's teacher(s) directly so that they can respond and prepare. Medication still on file with the Clinic will also be distributed to and signed for by the respective parent/guardian.
The following items will be collected and need to be returned during your selected time:
- Lake Ridge Library books
- District-issued Chromebooks/Devices w/the charging cable
When arriving to the campus, please enter using the second driveway that runs behind the school (general route for dismissal). Items will be retrieved/brought out at Door #5. No one should exit your vehicle. Please review the available slots via the link below, and sign up for a date/time if you have not already done so. If you have multiple children at Lake Ridge, you will need to choose an available slot for each child.
