ILEARN Testing
Students will begin ILEARN testing on Monday, April 15th. Students in 7th and 8th grade will finish testing on on Tuesday, April 23rd. Sixth grade students will finish testing on Wednesday, April 24th. It is important for students to be here on time during test dates so that they can start the test on time. Here are some areas where adults at home can help students prepare for testing:
SLEEP
Make sure your student gets a good night’s sleep before the test. This will help them to be cheerful and to stay alert during the test.
BREAKFAST
Please make sure your child eats breakfast, at school or at home. Overly sugary things are not recommended. This will help them to have energy and to stay focused during the test.
ENCOURAGEMENT
Please encourage your students to do their best! Some students may be feeling a little anxious or nervous about the tests. Please reassure your students that they have been practicing and preparing for the entire school year, and that they are ready for this assessment.
Our students have been working hard all year - we've enjoyed watching them learn and grow! We hope that with support from school and home, students will feel confident in doing their best during ILEARN testing.

Awards Day for 7th Grade and 6th Grade
Awards Day for students in 7th and 6th grades will be on Friday, May 24th, in the auditorium. Awards Day for these students are held by team, so each team will honored at different times. The times for each team are:
7Red - 9 AM
7 Gray - 10 AM
6 Silver - 12:15PM
6 White - 1:00 PM
6 Red - 1:45 PM
Families choosing to attend Awards Day will need to report to Door #1 (the office) and bring their ID. Please plan on arriving 15-20 minutes before your student's Awards Day presentation to be guaranteed enough time to sign in, ID check, and move to the auditorium. A student may be signed out after the awards ceremony, just please let the classroom teacher and student know this ahead of time so they may bring their belongings with them. There will be staff members by Door #9 (the back of the building) to assist with signing out students. (Because of the changes of the schedule on the last day, we cannot pull students from other teams/grades to attend a different awards ceremony, unless they are being signed out for the day.)
