Message from the Principal- Cameron Ramirez
We are almost there! We are loving the end of year award celebrations with each one of your amazing students. We are looking forward to several more next week. The 6th graders had a wonderful time at Medieval Times today and we look forward to seeing everyone at Skatetown tonight!
Don't forget there is no school next Monday and that we have early release next Thursday at 11:50 am.

Lakewood Art News:
Mrs. Yatko needs volunteers to help with the Artsonia Digital Art Gallery she is piloting this year with first grade artists. www.artsonia.com is a website in which parents can look at and then purchase items, such as mouse pads or coffee mugs, with your child’s artwork). Her planning time is 2:15 – 3:45 every day, so she has created a sign-up genius (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c084fafaf2aa5ff2-artsonia) for certain dates throughout April with 45 minute help sessions. The job entails taking photographs of the hundreds of first grade art works for the Artsonia website. Even if you are not a first grade parent, please consider volunteering; she hopes to implement Artsonia to all grade levels in 2019-2020. Sign up here to volunteer: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c084fafaf2aa5ff2-artsonia
You can find out more about your child’s art class by going to Mrs. Yatko’s Padlet website http://padlet.com/deborahyatko/lweart or her “Lakewood Elementary Art” facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Lakewood-Elementary-Art-901931713343837/

SAFETY CONCERN
All doors are locked when the bell rings at 7:50 am. Students will need to go to the front door to get a tardy pass before going to class. Please remind your child that they must get a pass from the main office before reporting to class. This means if they are coming in by the gym, once the bell rings they must travel around the outside of the building to get to the main office.
Please help us by getting your child to school on time every day.
