The author of a persuasive text will use facts to support his or her opinion.
What are facts and opinions?
Facts are statements that can be proven. For example, Electronic stores sell many kinds of cells phones is a fact that can be verified.
Opinions are expressions of a person's feelings and therefore cannot be proven. Computer games are fun is an example.
What clue words help identify the author's point of view?
*worst , careless, awful, difficult, useless, wrong, boring, etc.
*important, excellent, favorite, amazing, best, easy, right, exciting, etc.
