Principals Message:
A lot of great things happened in our Eagle Nation this week that should be recognized and celebrated. We can not name or identify them all, but some of them include the following:
Our students also showed their abilities during the April ASB Elections. All our students who ran showed their exceptional strength of character.
Thank you to all our students who are giving their input, ideas, and voices to make CHS even better. All your efforts were highlighted in an article this week in the Oregon School Board Association April 1, 2024, Blog post titled, "Asking Students Is The Answer For Centennial Leaders." Thank you for making a difference at CHS!
Centennial Spring Sports teams are continuing to rock it in the spring competition! Thanks to everyone supporting our Centennial Spring Sports teams. Our CHS teams continue to do a great job, and several have winning records. Our Track Senior Night on Wednesday was outstanding. Our CHS Baseball team had an exceptional time in AZ with a 2-2 record. Make sure to come on out to support a CHS sports team.
Despite having to overcome several barriers, four CHS students placed in the NWOC Art competition on Friday. Congratulations to everyone who participated and learned new things in the master classes. Here are several examples of art our students entered. Their work was phenomenal.
Also, thank you to our CHS SUN program, which sponsors outstanding Afterschool SUN and free Zumba Classes for our students and families after school this Spring Trimester at CHS. Check out this Spring SUN Flyier for more information. If you are interested in participating, know someone that is interested, or want to learn more, please reach out to Damein Roache, CHS SUN Program Site Manager, at dameinr@mfs.email
Yes, there was a lot to celebrate this week and even more that we did not highlight! It was a great week of learning Eagles. Let's make next week even better. Go Eagles!
Remember, "Once an Eagle, Always an Eagle" at CHS!

CSD Annual Family/Caregiver Survey (Take by 4/26)
Dear Parent/Guardian:
As part of our implementation of Roadmap '27, we are conducting an annual family/caregiver survey to better understand your perceptions and experiences. The results of this survey will be used to inform the planning process and results will be shared back with the community.
This survey is completely voluntary and anonymous; no personally identifiable information will be collected. The survey should take approximately 25 minutes to complete. Thank you for taking the time to provide valuable feedback that will inform our continuous improvement efforts.
