Holiday Celebration
We will celebrate the season reading The Night Tree by Eve Bunting. This book is about a family that has a tradition of decorating a tree with edible foods to the animals in the forest. I would like for our class to do this next Thursday, December 19th. If you are able to send in any of the following before next Thursday, it would be great appreciated. These will be for the animals, not us, so just clean the old stuff out of your pantry/fridge.
-Bread/bagels (stale is fine, just no mold)
-Cereals/crackers (the crumbs at the bottoms of the bag are fine)
-Birdseed
-Apples/cranberries/nuts (shelled)
-Peanut butter
-Honey
-Any other food that would be good to put out for birds, squirrels, deer.
