Holy Name Highlights
December 1, 2017
Note From The Principal's Desk
Greetings!
It was great seeing everyone this week after, hopefully, a restful Thanksgiving holiday. We have three weeks left of the second quarter and are looking forward to continuing to challenge the students and see their growth. We will be starting the second round of NWEA MAP testing in the coming weeks. We will be starting with our middle school students and working our way down. Our hope is to finish K-8 before break, but there is a chance that K-2nd grade will finish in January. This will be a great opportunity for us to see the growth that each student has made since August in Reading and Math. As the quarter is coming to an end, please be sure to be checking Jupiter and following up with the teachers if you have any concerns.
Happy December!
Mr. Kitchens

Primary and Intermediate Christmas Program
Christmas Program 2017
Primary and intermediate students are pleased to present their Christmas Program on Friday, December 15th at 7:00 pm in the Holy Name of Jesus Church. The students have worked very hard throughout the year and are eager to share what they have learned.
On December 15th the main school entrance will be open from 6:30pm. All students should be in their classrooms by 6:45pm. Homeroom teachers will be there to supervise children. Please do not come before 6:30pm as doors will not be open.
It will be dark and the parking lot will be busy so please accompany your child to their homeroom before going to the church to find a seat.
Students can wear holiday/smart clothes for the performance. Many students like to dress up on the night but we ask that there is no writing on shirts. Jeans, shorts and spaghetti strap tops are not appropriate. Please keep comfort and ease of movement in mind when choosing outfits/shoes. The church will get hot so please do not wear warm bulky clothes.
After the performance all students will return to homerooms with their teachers. For safety reasons we ask that you go to your child’s homeroom and pick them up there.
