Happy New Year Cloverleaf members! With the new year, we would love to see a new enthusiasm during our club meetings! Don't be afraid to make a motion, talk about an event, or share any ideas at the meetings!

The Ozaukee County Jumping Country event will be on Friday, January 15 starting at 6pm. All 4-H youth from grades K-7 are invited to join in the fun. Cloverbuds grades K-2 should be picked up by 9:30 pm while youth 3-7 can stay for more bouncing and a sleepover. Please plan to pick up kids at 8 am the next morning. LaSata Bingo will begin at the Nursing Home on Saturday, January 23, at 9:30 am. Please meet in the front lobby at 9:10 am.
This year the 4-H Bowl-athon will be held on Sunday, January 31 at Circle B Recreation. Slots are available for 10:30pm, 12:30pm, or 2:30pm. Please set up teams at our January meeting. Club will pay for bowling fees. Members are asked to raise at least $25.00 and must do so in order to be eligible for the drawing (Top prize is Go Pro Hero 3 White, 2nd-$75 Amazon Gift Card, 3rd - $50 Amazon Gift Card). Don’t forget to take your pledge sheet to bowling; turn them in before you start to bowl.
Ozaukee County 4-H Dance is on Saturday, February 20 from 6:30-10:30pm at the Ozaukee County Fairgrounds in the Pavilion. Admission is $3.00. We have a fantastic DJ that will play all your favorites. Introduction of our Mr. & Miss Court will take place at 9:00 pm. There will be a 4-H Dance off – Best Male and Female will each be awarded a traveling trophy. 8 pm will be 7th grade and under dance off and 10 pm will be 8th grade and older dance off. You don’t want to miss the dance!!! Invite everyone you know!
The annual Variety Show will be held on March 5 in the Port Washington High School Auditorium. Please sign up at our January meeting if you are interested in being in our group act. The Audition Day for individual acts is on Saturday, March 5 at the Port Washington HS Auditorium. Practice dates will be determined.
The Pinewood Derby will be on Sunday, February 14th and the Derby Science day will be on Saturday, February 13th.
Wisconsin 4-H Youth Conference will be June 20-23 at the UW-Madison Campus. All members in Grades 8-10 are encouraged to apply! It is a great experience! Applications are due 2-1-16 and the Interview Date is 2-23-16.You can download paperwork from 4-H Website on the Opportunities and Awards page. Don't be afraid to ask members that have attended to share their wonderful experience!
The 4-H Art Lab will be held January 29 –31 at Upham Woods. The lab is open to Members in 9-12 grades. We will have a more in depth explanation of the lab at our January meeting.
The OYC Lock-in is on January 8, 5 pm to Saturday, January 9th at 7 am. This event is at the fairgrounds and is a great way for older youth to meet and have fun!
Key Award and Haunt Scholarship Applications due on February 1 for eligible seniors
Together We Can will hold their next event on Saturday, January 30 at 2:30-4 pm. Our Guests and helpers will be making cars for the pinewood derby!
Our February Meeting will be held Monday, February 8, 2016 6:15pm at Grafton High School. Make a Difference Party – Theme: Valentine
Our Snack will be Pizza & Soda: John’s Pizzeria and an Ice Cream Treat
