Message from the Principal
Well, we got 1st-5th grade rolling this week. Super busy and lots of fun!
Please note that I will be sending out these "message from the principal" notes each week in our Weekly Wildcat. I will try to be brief and only include the stuff we really need you to know. Please take time to read them and call our office if you have any questions.
- Drop off and Pick Up routines. We have LOTS of families driving their students to school this week. You can use the drive through line (curbside), park and walk them up/pick them up (use crosswalks and be careful) or drop off students on the west side of the school. That is the side closest to the gym and we have two teachers there letting students in. That is also a good place to park and pick up your student after school, while the construction is happening at the Broadway Rose. Please know that if you are dropping off curbside, it is a slow process. One road in, one road out.
- Follow @CFTWildcats on Twitter or Instagram. We'll be posting pictures of our routines, students and classrooms at least weekly. Our volunteer opportunities are limited right now so this is a good way to see how things are organized here at CFT.
- Bring back your iPad, please! We need to update them and prepare them for student use this year. You can keep the charger at home.
As always, reach out to our Office Team if you need any support. We are so excited to be back in school and really value your insight and partnership.
Please continue to screen your students at home using this HOME SCREENING TOOL. Keeping students who are ill or have primary COVID symptoms at home is our best defense as a community.
Thank you!
Mr. Blasquez/ Mr. B, Principal
Mensaje del director
Hola familias Wildcat-
¡Gracias!
Sr. Blasquez / Sr. B, Director

DROP OFF/PICK UP INFORMATION
As mentioned above, due to the construction at the Broadway Rose theater, you can drop off on the west side of our building by the gym and there are two teachers there to welcome your students to the building.
During pickup time, if your student is being picked up by family (not riding the bus), make sure you connect with their teacher prior to taking your student out of their dismissal line. Teachers need to know that their students have made it to their dismissal destination safely.
************************************************************

BROADWAY ROSE PARKING CLOSED DUE TO CONSTRUCTION
Our neighbor, The Broadway Rose Theatre building is under construction. The Broadway Rose parking lot is CLOSED to all CFT staff and families. There will be no more Broadway Rose student pickups. Please help us keep your students safe and keep them away from this construction zone.
As always you may park in the first lot as you drive into the round about or you may stay in your car and sit in the car line in that first lot. Another option is you may park in the lot in front of the school to pick up your students. You will need to park in a parking spot, get out of your car and meet your student(s) by the flagpole. In order to access the front parking lot, go around the round-about and turn into the 3rd driveway to gain access. Do not drive down the bus lane (which is the second driveway in the roundabout).
Please note that all vehicles will be expected to yield to buses as they leave our parking lot to get the students home.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
