"The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new" -Socrates
Heyyyyyy Heritage
Hello Team--
Whomp Whomp....even though we were expecting this...hearing it out loud felt like a punch in the gut. Instead of dwelling on the sadness, we encourage you to look on the bright side of pajama days, long lunches and sleeping in. Forced self care if you will.
We have been so proud (to tears literally) to see the love, support and teamwork from all of you during this crazy time. Thank you so much for all of you who are doing the extra little things to keep our school running smoothly. So many of you are helping out in new ways, collaborating together virtually and sharing the load. We are truly working smarter not harder. This strength is going to make the next few weeks feel not as lonely.
We will continue to think outside the box and find other jobs, responsibilities and ways that our Support Staff can help and contribute...so stay tuned! :) We are amazed at the connectedness we still feel and the family atmosphere that is still being carried on even without walls. Keep it up, keep in contact and keep supporting each other. We are so lucky to have each other and to be at Heritage! It is still the #BestYearYet even under the circumstances in our book! We love you all!
Love,
Megan & Gretchen
P.S. If you have not, please check out the Special Area Lessons in the CubHub for Families!! They are being so creative, engaging & entertaining! The videos are a must watch--even if you don't have kids! :) Talk up these lessons to your kids--parents may be too overwhelmed to scroll down to the Special Area Links--but they are missing out on some amazing lessons!
Look what I found!
Love,
Sutton

Classroom teacher Attendance-ish
If this link doesn't work--just tell your grade chair to let me know so I don't get 40 emails and texts please because I am sure I made a mistake.
Remember to only record if your student was AT the zoom meeting or lesson with your initials and the date: ex: CT MS 4/13 <---that means classroom teacher, megan sutton saw this kid on 4/13. Make sense?
