The Voice of the People

Dear Editor
Hi, so I was going down to the market when I saw your last issue about the creation of the National Assembly. I just wanted to say that I thought this was a great thing for people like us. I don't care what the King says, these Assembly members are heroes fighting for us, and they are doing what's right. I just wanted to throw my two cents in, thank you.
Sincerely,
Jacques Bataille
Dear Editor
I was just freed from the Bastille, and I wanted this to be an open letter to the people of France. We must rise up against the king! Our taking of the Bastille shows our strength, and now we not only have the weapons to defend ourselves, but also to bring the fight to our oppresors! We tore down that symbol of tyranny and established a government for the people. This is just one of may steps towards gaining our rights, and for that pig of a King to finally recognize the National Assembly. There is no other direction but up for our movement now, and the taking of the Bastille shows how much power we wield when we band together,
Fight my brothers and sisters,

The Legal Revolution Begins
This past week, a historic piece of legislation was passed by the people of France. Known as the Declaration of the Rights of Man, document gives the people France the basic rights that they should have been afforded before. The people of France can finally speak their minds, practice the religion that they wish to, and allows the press the operate. Also, men across the country can now participate in government. Men and women across the country are celebrating as the people finally get an edge on the monarchy. This very own publication is made legal due to the work of the former Third Estate. This appears to be just the beginning, as the National Assembly is gearing up to make even more reforms in favor of the people of this great nation. We're excited to see what our representatives have in store for us.
