A Message from the Principal
Valley Mills Families,
It is hard to believe that we have reached Spring Break! This year is flying by and I am so proud of the growth that our students have made. I hope that everyone is able to enjoy your break; whether it be traveling or staying home, take the opportunity to rest and recharge for the last eight weeks. I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our 3rd-grade teachers, students, and families. We were able to have 100% completion of the IREAD-3 assessment, thank you for making sure that your child was here and on time!

A Note from the Nurse
Decatur Township Culture
E= Events: We cannot control things that happen
R= Response: We can control our response to the event
O=Outcome: Having a proper response will get the desired outcome.
This concept is powerful for all of us. Daily, many things happen that are out of our control. We can lash out or we can pause, think, and then respond. Pausing for reflection allows us to get the outcome that we need and want.
