Atlas' Canvas
Hello everyone! Atlas Here!
Since November 15th has come and gone, I hope those of us who broke bread with their fellow masters had a wonderful Grand Cross of Color observance!
I’ve seen a few Grand Representatives from different assemblies visiting their Grand Jurisdiction, and have even gotten a few pictures from those visitations! It’s so spectacular to see you contacting and getting in touch with your counterparts– and especially to make the effort to visit your jurisdiction! Keep up the great work!
I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday! With Thanksgiving fast approaching, I want to take the moment to say just how thankful Ashley and I are for all of you girls. You’re our friends, our sisters, and South Carolina Rainbow wouldn’t be complete without you.
Our theme for the year is One Canvas, Many Colours. Of course, that theme can be related to art. But art is so much more than colours on a canvas. Art is poetry, movement, music. Art is imagination given life. And every single one of you is capable of creating it.
It doesn’t have to be a drawing, or a painting. If it is your imagination given life— that is art. I encourage all of you over the holiday to put your Creativity to use, and make art.
Remember, you are God’s Masterpiece.
~Atlas & Ashley
Notes from the Heart
Hello South Carolina Rainbow Family!
It is no secret to many of you that Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. It isn’t because of the food or getting to be with family, though these are a wonderful part of the celebration. It is because I find joy in being thankful and showing appreciation to others.
In fact, having an attitude of gratitude improves your health. An American Psychological Association study found that practicing thankfulness "was associated with better mood, better sleep, less fatigue and lower levels of inflammatory biomarkers related to cardiac health." Being thankful is good for your attitude, your energy level, and your heart!
So take time to focus on thanking people for their time, talents, or the "little extra" that they do. Practice gratitude this month and see what a difference it makes in your life as well as in the lives of others. A simple heart-felt “thank you” or a phone call or text saying, “I appreciate you” is all it takes.
With a grateful heart,
Mrs. Dedra
Where is Waldo?
I am still in Dentsville and would love some visitors!! Please come see me or take me to visit your Assembly!

Supreme Assembly 2024
The Road leads to Hampton, VA for 2024!
If you start in October bringing $50 to each meeting through May and depositing it into your Assembly account, you would have $800 saved for the trip. Or if you start now and bring $40 and save through the first meeting in July you will also have $800 towards going to Supreme Assembly. Of course, you could also have multi-family yard sales or car washes to help raise the money too.
We would love as many as possible to go to Supreme and we would love to have a Ritual Team to participate! So start saving money and working on your memory work!
Supreme Assembly Bow Team!
Calling all ritualist!! Have you heard? We are having tryout for Bow Team on January 27th at Dentsville Masonic Lodge starting at 1:00! Please talk to your Mother Advisor, she has more information and fill out the Google Form if you are interested!

Graffiti from Greenwood
Greenwood #33 welcomed two new members last month who have already been very active (Star H. and Lillie G.)! Both girls attended the Halloween Bash at West Columbia and had a great time. They brought a prospect and family members. They have planned many service activities and are excited to grow the assembly. We will be welcoming more members on November 27th. On December 9th we will be reading Christmas stories to the elderly at a Nursing Home in Newberry.
Watercolors from West Columbia
Wishing all of South Carolina Rainbow a Happy Thanksgiving from West Columbia Assembly #36.
We held our second Halloween event on October 24. Members of Greenwood and Newport assemblies and their Mother Advisors joined us for food, fun, and fellowship. We also welcomed some prospective members to our event.
We had a very busy end of October. West Columbia sponsored a table for the Airport High School "Trick or Treat Lane" on Friday, October 27. The event was from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. It was reported that over 1,000 attendees enjoyed this free trick-or-treating and other activities. Addie, Mady, and Alyssa were dressed in their costumes for the event.
We held our Grand Cross of Color Observation on Tuesday, November 14. We were happy to have Kara join us for this event. We enjoyed a meal with members of the assembly prior to the observance. There were two charter members of our assembly present for the event.
Future plans include a cookie exchange and a float in the Cayce/West Columbia Christmas parade.
See you soon!!!
Goose Creek Gallery
Goose Creek Assembly had some craft time, food, giant jenga, indoor cornhole, music, and fellowship at their Fall Festival! Oh yes we also had our own Pet Therapy dog visit with Mrs. Monnie and Goose. Cookies were decorated and eaten. Dream catchers were made. Smiles, laughs, and fun had by everyone there.
Drawings from Dentsville
Dentsville had a great time at their Trunk or Treat and Halloween party! We are enjoying the Seasons with Kirsten for her term!
Newport's paint by Numbers
Happy Thanksgiving!
Newport served for Corinthian OES Chapter"s OV, celebrated our inner Princess for one of our meetings, attended the Grand Visitation in Virginia, and the Official Visit in North Carolina with some of our sisters from across the state. We had so much fun traveling to and from the different functions. We are looking forward to going to the Peppermint Ball and Dining in the Dark!
So much love to all of our Rainbow Sisters,

SCAMM - South Carolina Association of Majority Members
SCAMM is in the beginning stages of a project to assist with funds for scholarships. SCAMM is asking for donations of men’s button-down shirts that can be turned into aprons to keep food off of the young ladies' beautiful gowns. If you have a shirt from someone special, just let us know when the shirt is turned in so we can get that specific apron back to them. We will be gladly accepting men’s button-down shirts at the next few jurisdictional get-togethers like the school of instruction. The aprons will go on sale as soon as the finished products have been created. Please feel free to reach out to Lynn Carter or Heather Kamphaus for any questions or concerns.
