SUMMER MEALS AVAILABLE MAY 23 - AUGUST 5
Bowling Green Independent Schools will offer free meals for children Monday - Friday, May 23 - August 5 (closed Memorial Day, May 30 and July 4th). Any child 18 years and younger may receive a free meal regardless of where they attend school. Children must be present and meals must be eaten on site.
Beginning June 1, text the word “food” or “comida” to 304304 to locate a Summer Meal Site for children. When prompted by text, enter a specific address and a list of local meal sites will be provided.

Breakfast 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. and Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Bowling Green Independent Schools Child Nutrition Department will also partner with the Warren County Public Library throughout the summer at different sites in the community.
Summer Health & PE
8th Grade Students intending to take the Health/PE class offered by BGHS this summer, must confirm their intent to do so by clicking on THIS LINK!

FREE MIT Spokes Learning Festival at WKU Innovation Campus on June 22nd
The MIT Spokes team is coming to Bowling Green to provide the MIT Spokes Learning Festival on Wednesday, June 22nd. The MIT Spokes Learning Festival is a free one-day STEM workshop with modules on 3D printing, material science, electrical engineering, and philosophy.
The event, which will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., is open to incoming 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in the region. No prerequisites are required.

The MIT Spokes team is comprised of 7 undergraduate students at MIT who are bicycling across 3,000 miles of the U.S. over 75 days this summer, and teaching these Learning Festivals along the way. Find out more about the program here: https://www.mitspokes.com

The WKU Innovation Campus headquarters is a 285,000-square foot facility that houses a range of applied research labs; innovative companies; a 30,000-square foot Collaborative SmartSpace for folks doing creative, strategy, and remote work; and the Central Region Ecosystem for Arts, Technology, & Entrepreneurship (CREATE).
