Universal Pre Kindergarten Updates
Dear Families,
We’re pleased to announce our participation in the Colorado Universal Preschool program! Doing so allows you to receive funding towards our high-quality preschool services.
The enrollment for Universal Preschool opens February 29th, and we’d love to serve your family in 2024-25. Thanks to a new enrollment process, it’s now easier than ever to “match” with us in the Universal Preschool Portal.
All families can start their Universal Preschool (UPK) registration on February 29th.
- Pre-Registration allows families with children already enrolled, children with siblings already enrolled, or children of an employee at our site to “match” with us directly! Below are the direct links to access the UPK enrollment application. Pre-Registration must be completed by March 28.
- New families to our school will also be able to register for the program, starting February 29th, and will be matched with one of their top 10 preferred providers during matching rounds -in April and July. Families can find our profile starting on February 29 through the Colorado Department of Early Childhood (CDEC). Select Universal Preschool and then select Edith Teter Preschool as a preferred provider, and submit their registration through mid-July.
Now is the time to talk to us about enrolling your child at Edith Teter Preschool! All children in the year before kindergarten are eligible for up to 15 hours of funding per week through UPK!
Below are the links to begin your UPK application. Please note the differences.
We have computers available for any family to use for registering online.
Please feel free to contact us for any assistance or questions. We're here for you!
