#1 CHEERLEADERS SHOW SPIRIT OF THE SEASON
In addition, the cheerleaders cancelled their annual gift exchange, opting to instead donate gifts to help 27 local children this Christmas through the Angel Tree Program at Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament Church.
Finally, the Competition Cheer Squad was named FIRST PLACE CHAMPIONS at the Steel City Competition held at Shaler High School on Dec. 14.
"The girls never stop amazing me. I am proud of the personal growth and compassion they have shown these past few weeks," said sponsor Jamee Bonnett.
DONATE BLANKETS FOR HOMELESS
Please donate new or clean/gently used blankets for this worthy cause. All blankets will be collected in the Highlands High School and Middle School offices through Dec. 18, 2014. Thank you for your support!
BASKETBALL SKILLS SESSIONS CONTINUE THIS SUNDAY
This is a free program designed to enhance skills and basketball knowledge. No signups are necessary.
More News Bits...
Unfortunately, the time frame for the sock order delivery has been extended much longer than anticipated. It was determined in recent shipment that the quality of the product was very poor; not like the sample the school received. The orders were re-submitted for a higher quality product. We ask for your continued patience as this further extends production time. Thank you for your support of this fundraiser. Questions may be referred to Mrs. Schoepf at kschoepf@goldenrams.com.
