da Vinci was the a true renaissance man. He invented the spiral screw. He also made beautiful paintings such as the Mona Lisa and the Last Supper. What makes da Vinci so outstanding is that he was the first to practice realism in his art work. Also, his inventions are still used today as the basis of some modern technology.
Johannes Gutenberg
Gutenberg was the inventor of the famous printing press. His invention sped up the process of copying book and spread secular books across Germany.
Michelangelo Buonarroti
Michelangelo was the father of anatomy. He sculpted the David, and beautiful painted the Sistine Chapel. Hus astonishing art work is still admired today.

Realistic art work and the study of anatomy still live today. Plus, Italy still holds much of the renaissance within its walls. This great age is kept close to our hearts by keeping it alive today.

This was due to the expand of learning about art and architecture in Florence, Italy. In addition, people started believing in humanism, which is the belief of human potential and achievements. All these things are quintessentially what the Renaissance did to the world back in its day.
