The Mustang Minute
March 16, 2018 - Issue 26
The Luck of the Norwoodian....
This week our 7th grade team celebrated Pi day (less eating at this celebration but still lots of learning) this Friday. The storm pushed off the celebration but did not discourage this awesome math party from taking place! Students demonstrated their understanding of what Pi is and how it is used while having measuring competitions, doing some hula hooping, and answering Pi trivia (can you name the town with the first 5 digits of Pi as it's zip code - no Googling)
Next week is gearing up to be just as packed (though hopefully with less snow) and don;t forget to check out the Friends of the Arts Show at the NHS library this Wednesday!
Have a wonderful weekend and a Very Happy St. Patrick's Day!
