RULH High School Named PURPLE HEART SCHOOL for Support of Military
Junior High Academic Team Competes in First Meet of Season!
The Junior High Academic Team recently competed in their first meet of the season at Hamersville Middle School. The Blue Jays played against Hamersville and Georgetown! The Jays are coached by Mrs. Holly Moran (pictured below in the red and black sweater). The team members pictured below are from left to right: Shade Kendrick, Marley Mitchell, Gavan Smith and Jordan Fulton. Not pictured is Paige Forsee.
RULH Kindergartners Enjoy Easter Celebrations!
On Tuesday, March 26th, kindergarten students participated in the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Due to poor weather conditions the hunt was held in the elementary cafeteria. The students still had a wonderful time and enjoyed themselves. Kindergarten students also enjoyed Easter treats at their parties later that afternoon. Thank you to the kindergarten teachers for providing this special day for their students!
RULH Elementary Holds Annual Art Night!
RULH Elementary held its annual Art Night on March 26th. Everyone was invited to participate in Art Stations to create art with their families and enjoy viewing all the artwork on display. The art award ceremony was held at 7 p.m. Congratulations to all Elementary students for their hard work and dedication to the arts!

RULH Fifth and Sixth Grade Science Students Compete in Bridge Building Contest
High School Track Teams Open Season with Strong Performances!
The boys and girls varsity track teams started their season at the Manchester Invitational on Saturday, April 6th. The boys scored 58 points and the girls scored 19 points. Jasmine Young finished 2nd in long jump and 2nd in 300 meter hurdles. Chelsea Richards was 6th in 100 meter hurdles. Braylon Scarborough was 4th in 100 meter dash, 2nd in discus and 6th in shot put. Ian Young was 3rd in 200 meter dash and 6th in long jump. Steven Coyle was 5th in 110 meter hurdles and 4th in 300 meter hurdles. Hunter Ridenour was 5th in discus and 7th in shot put. Wyatt Watters was 6th in 200 meter dash and placed 8th in 100 meter dash. The 4x100 relay finished second and 4x200 relay finished third. Way to go Blue Jays!.
On Tuesday, April 9th, the boys and girls varsity track teams competed in the rain at West Union against 12 other teams. Jasmine Young finished 4th in the 100 meter dash, 7th in 300 meter hurdles and 1st in long jump. For the boys the 4x100 relay finished 7th and the 4x200 relay also finished 7th. Steven Coyle was 6th in 110 meter hurdles and Braylon Scarborough was 8th in 100 meter dash. There were some personal records set. Great job Blue Jays!

Senior Basketball Players Play in C103 All-Star Game
Several of the RULH High School senior basketball players and cheerleaders recently participated in the C103 Basketball All-Star Game! The seniors represented Blue Jay Nation very well! The boys who participated were Jackson French and Ty Fyffe. The girls who participated were Jersey Fulton, Brooke Sims, Ellaina Hutchinson, and Kenlee Finn.
