An Invitation to a 24-Hour Inquiry
Next, commit to one 24-hour period in which you spend as much time as you can learning about your topic. (This means that some people will have a lot of time in their 24 hours while others will only have a little. This is understood and expected. What matters is not how much time each person has to give to this endeavor, but that each person uses the time well).
A google survey will be sent on Monday, July 31st.. You will be asked to share your name and topic by Friday, August 11th. On August 16th, we will share our knowledge in process! Please bring any artifacts/photographs/notes you uncover or create (if this is part of your inquiry).
We develop students who care about the world we live in and express critical thinking through natural curiosity and wonder.

DFES Booklet
During the initial stages of our magnet program we created a unique and interactive brochure to share the news about what we were hoping to offer. Our initial brochure lacked depth as we were just getting started.
With four years under our belt we have depth to our magnet program. We chose to move from a brochure to a booklet to inform prospective parents of the opportunities our magnet program offers. The link below features the booklet that has been recently created, with the help of an amazing company, that will be shared with families during magnet fairs and school visits.
