Miss Bailey Hiatt, Special Services
My passion for kids and learning is what led me to become an educator. I am the teacher who believes that every child can succeed in the classroom, regardless of challenges that may arise. I can’t wait to start my first year! Go Mustangs!
Ms. Peggy Jones, 2nd grade
Most of my public school teaching was spent in Osage County teaching fourth grade. Most recently, my experience has been at St. James School in Liberty. I have lived in Pekin, Illinois and the following places in Missouri: Kirksville, Liberty, Jefferson City, Kansas City, and Raymore. I have 2 children, Jakob and Erynn and I enjoy reading, writing, and listening to music. I am excited to join the Ray-Pec team to help educate our youth and serve our community.
Mrs. Alex Tompkins, 1st grade
In 2015, I graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a Master's degree in Literacy Education. I am married to my wonderful husband and high school sweet heart, Michael. We welcomed out first child into the world in October! Her name is Adley. We also have two fur-babies, Chance and Shadow.
I am ecstatic to be coming to work at Bridle Ridge next year as a first grade teacher!
Mrs. Sherrie Goodwin, Special Services
Hi Mustangs, I'm thrilled to be joining the Bridle Ridge Family as a SpEd Teacher. I just recently completed my master's degree through Grand Canyon University and am looking forward to my new role at Bridle Ridge. I am not new to Special Education and I've spent four years at Raymore Elementary as a paraprofessional and loved the kiddos and amazing teachers and staff I worked with there. I look forward to getting to know everyone at Bridle Ridge and am sure I will love THIS family as much as my Raymore family.
I live in Freeman with my husband and granddaughters, Isis (7) & Ziona (4). We love playing board games, spending time outdoors, camping, gardening, riding 4 wheelers, and taking care of our 13 chickens, one dog, and one cat. In my free time, I like reading, antiquing, and crafting. I'm always in search of an item to repurpose into something unique! Can't wait to meet you!
Mr. Kevin Pluss, Special Services

I grew up outside of Chicago and previously worked at a non-profit for people impacted by HIV/AIDS, worked in the Kansas City Public Schools and Center School District teaching Special Education at both Elementary and High School levels. I love to travel, see movies, play/watch sports, and read.
