2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
It's hard to believe we are already starting the process of scheduling for FRESHMAN YEAR! Check below for important information regarding scheduling and the process we will use this year.
WHO IS MY COUNSELOR?
Your counselor will be Mrs. Becker, Mrs. Bell, or Mrs. Frank. You will keep the same counselor throughout your entire high school career. Students are divided by last names.

Most students call her Ms. Tracy since we have a few staff members with the last name Caldwell. Some of you might even know or remember her from Fayette Central.

BIMINI - STUDENT SERVICES DOG
In November of 2022 a grant was secured from the Fayette County Foundation to help pay for training in order for the Student Services office to have a dog come to school full time. The dog’s name is Bimini and she is a one-year-old Bernese Labradoodle. She completed her training in March of 2023 and has been coming to school full time since then. She spends most of her time in the Student Services office and in the hallways during passing period; however, she does sometimes make classroom visits. While many students and staff enjoy her presence, we are not naïve and understand that not everybody enjoys dogs or being around them. If you would prefer to not be around her, please contact Julie Bell. Additionally, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Julie Bell at juliebell@fayette.k12.in.us

COUNSELORS WILL BE BACK ON MARCH 2OTH TO COLLECT YOUR SHEETS
On March 20th, all counselors will be at CMS to collect your sheets! Make sure your green sheet is completely filled out by March 20th!
HOW TO SIGN UP FOR SUMMER SCHOOL!
Registration Opens April 1st
There will be no in-person summer school
· Students may only take ONE course through Indiana Online
· Students may take one online course for FREE!
Directions for registering the Indiana Online Course
DO NOT CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT IF YOU HAVE ALREDY TAKEN COURSES THROUGH INDIANA ONLINE
Go to www.indianaonline.org
Click on “Create Account” (or log in with your account if you have previously taken courses with Indiana Online)
Complete registration steps 1-3 on the page.
Continue to follow the prompts given on the site. If you encounter any difficulties, please contact 317-759-5559. CHS will be unable to help you register, as we do not have access to their system. You must contact Indiana Online directly. 317-759-5559
After you register, your counselor will be notified to approve your course selection automatically.
Indiana online classes begin June 10th, 2024. You will receive directions from Indiana Online regarding how to access your classes after you complete registration.
If you have any problems accessing your classes, please contact Indiana Online directly at 317-759-5559. Again, CHS does not have access to the Indiana Online System; therefore, you need to contact Indiana Online directly with any problems you have with these online courses. They are very friendly, and very prompt with their assistance.
