RETRIEVING ITEMS FROM BUILDING
Based on current public health guidance, APS doesn't foresee allowing students or staff to return to school buildings to retrieve items before August. However, APS has developed a process to allow for exceptions on a case-by-case basis. Students and staff seeking access to school buildings based on a critical need prior to August 2020, but no later than May 29, 2020, may submit a request at https://forms.gle/PP1jZ9Ckk9zcbvH66. The request form includes the acknowledgment of a waiver.

5TH GRADE PARADE & YEARBOOK PICK-UP
Join us in celebrating our exiting 5th grade students on Thursday, May 21st. We will be hosting a rolling 5th grade parade through the parking lot of Jackson Main. We are encouraging students and parents to decorate their cars for the event. The 5th Grade parade will begin on campus at 9:30 entering through the main entrance off of Mt. Paran Rd and exiting out of the back gate to Coronado Dr. We ask that all well-wishers arrive early to park in a parking spot, or along Coronado prior to 9:30. We request that only 5th grade vehicles enter the main entrance between 9:30-10:00 so that non-participants do not get caught up in the parade.
We will also be hosting a curbside yearbook pickup beginning at 10:00. If you ordered a yearbook, you will able to enter campus through the main entrance and exit through the Coronado Dr. exit to pick up your yearbook. All yearbooks will be picked up at the Main Campus.
Bins will also be available for students to drop off library books. As you are in line for yearbooks, simply drop your return book in the provided bin. If you would like to keep the book for reading over the summer, please feel free to do so.
We will have a table for 5th grade only to drop off notes or items for their teachers. All items should be left for the teachers on the table. Teachers will not receive items directly from students. We will not be taking items for other grade levels as this is a recognition of the 5th graders and their accomplishments.
Things to remember during yearbook pickup and parade:
- Please remain in your vehicle.
- No walkups for yearbook or parade. All on campus visitors MUST stay in their vehicles. No yearbooks will be distributed to walkups.
- Please take safety precautions that you feel are appropriate. Please do not interact with teachers or volunteers distributing yearbooks. Please respect their desire to observe safety precautions.
