March 17 Election: 18 days away
The last operating levy was passed by voters in 2014 and promised to last four years. It has now been more than five years since the district started receiving tax collections on that levy, which specifically was intended to improve the Loveland education by expanding programs and services for our students. To highlight these investments, which have resulted in excellent student achievement and academic progress across the district, we're sharing a series of videos in our weekly Tiger Talk.

DISTRICT NEWS
How do we prevent/prepare for a coronavirus outbreak?
Why the late call for delay this morning?
The weather conditions this morning were not of concern between 4 and 5 a.m., which is when the district normally assesses the road situation. The goal is always to make decisions no later than 5:15 a.m. to keep students and staff (including bus drivers) off the roads if unsafe. Shortly before 6:00 a.m. this morning, the conditions worsened very quickly - with additional precipitation, dropping temperatures and ice - and we decided to call a two-hour delay.
Making these “weather calls” is never easy or quite as straight forward as it may seem. The district has people on the ground early to check numerous spots across our geographical area and is in contact with other local districts, weather channels and fire/police. We make every attempt to communicate as early as possible, but the timing of the announcements may not always be ideal. We are sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding!

Kindergarten registration for 2020-2021 is open
The Loveland City School District is now taking registration for the 2020-2021 Kindergarten class. If your child will be five years old on or before September 30, 2020, please click here for Kindergarten FAQs to see information about half-day and full-day options for next year. (The FAQs now include updated information regarding tuition.) If you are interested in the full-day lottery, your child’s enrollment form, required documentation and $75 deposit must be completed by Friday, March 6. Please let your family members, neighbors and friends know it’s time to enroll for Kindergarten!
Reminder: Inclement weather information for 2019-20
The Loveland City School District operates on a two-hour delay schedule for weather-related delays. This means all buildings will begin classes on a two-hour delay from regular start times, and all buses will run on a two-hour delay to pick up students. (Read more.)
