Choir Students Compete at All-State Choir Competition
This past Saturday three of our own competed in the fourth and final round of the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) TX All-State Choir competition. I am pleased to inform you that two of our singers were seated in the choir and one was named as an alternate.
Lauren Dalton, senior, was named an alternate to the choir in the alto I section.
Kyle Grubbs, senior, was seated fourth chair in the bass II section. This is Kyle’s second trip to All-State.
Trent Hall, junior, was seated third chair in the bass II section.
To achieve this goal is a high honor. Some 15,000 student begin this long process in September and from that about 440 singers are selected. Please join me in congratulating these student for their hard work and dedication. Go Falcons!
