Fall Fit Groups are right around the corner! Any associate can jump in! Get in the group.

Yeah, we got that!
FIT Groups are fun, interactive training (mind, body & soul) groups that will meet for 6-8 weeks, depending on the group.
One size certainly does not fit all. We all have sizes and shapes we are trying to create and fit into. To meet the needs of our large population, a variety of training types are needed. That's where FIT groups come in.
Any associate can participate in our FIT Groups. We look forward to partnering with you on your health journey!

1. 5 on 5 Clean Eating Challenge with 10 Day Kick-Off Meal Plan
The only way to maintain health and maximize your existence is to establish lifestyle habits for the long haul! Kick your challenge off with a specific 10 day meal plan, both for men and women. Take your family through the challenge, your team at work, school or church. You guys will love it! In this book you will learn:

2. Nutrition 301: Nutrition for the Health Nut
Join Lori Woodward, Registered Dietitian, for this 6 week nutrition education course. You will learn:
- How to develop a clean eating program.
- Facts about macros.
- Balancing proteins carbs and fats, and how much you need in your diet.
- Tips on increasing fiber, anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory foods in your meal plan.
- How to Incorporate healthy quick and clean meals, snacks and beverages into your lifestyle.
- How you can sustain long term energy and stabilize your blood sugar by eating the right combination of foods.
Start date will be Monday, October 3rd, 12:45-1:15pm in conference room 1C.
3. How Do I Use This Stuff? Challenge
You're not alone. Kellye is teaching a class called, "How Do I Use This Stuff?" every Monday from 12:30-1pm. You will have a certified trainer take you thru various machines, teach you good form, how to put exercises together and why that matters.
Win a t-shirt! All you have to do is show up for at least 4 classes during the 6 week challenge. On week 6, you will show Kellye how to use this stuff :). You get to be the teacher, use good form and win! (You don't have to show Kellye everything, just something you learned during the classes).
Challenge begins Monday, October 3rd @ 12:30 in the Coliseum.
4. Drum Beat Fit Group
Win your own set of personalized Drum Fit sticks by attending 6 consecutive classes!
5. Mindful Meditation @ Work
Join us for our new 8 week Mindful Meditation Program.
Each week is designed to take you deeper into your practice with tips, tools and techniques for meditating. This class will help transform your stress and create greater joy in each moment from your office to the weekends. Each class is 30 minutes with a short intro topic and a 15-20 min. guided meditation. This is great for beginners and people who have been interested in learning more about meditation, along with refreshing information for already practicing meditators. Get ready for a journey of greater expansion and clarity through meditation!

6. Posture and Procedure with Dr. JJ
Our onsite Chiropractor, Dr. JJ, along with our team of personal trainers, will be performing quick posture exams and giving procedure tips every Thursday from 12 to 12:30 in the Coliseum for 6 weeks.
The posture pro analysis grid is specially designed to provide rapid visual clues to the person's posture. At the center of the grid is a highly detailed representation of a perfect lateral posture. Around that image are sprinkled other important posture education images concerning backpack safety, pregnancy and posture, head weight changes in poor posture, and abnormal AP posture. The text explaining these images is hidden in the large dots closest to the image.
These special images turn our new posture grid into a great educational device showing the importance of posture to overall health and performance.

7. The 7 minute Office Workout with Michelle
Join Michelle every Thursday at 1:30pm in conference room 4 east beginning October 3rd!
8. Hiking Trail Challenge
What is it:
This challenge is all about hitting the trails. Do you have a favorite trail to walk/hike? Well, it's time to get one!
What am I committing to:
- Hiking your favorite trail once a week for 6 weeks.
- Picking a new trail once a week for 6 weeks (yes, 6 new trails is the goal), and walking/hiking that new trail.
- Using the trail app called AllTrails (link below)
- You must record and complete your trials using the app. You will share them each week with other challengers and hand in your full report at the end of the 6 weeks.
- This app will locate trails for you! It's super cool.
What do I do to win a t-shirt:
- Hike 2 trails per week for 6 weeks (your top trail and a 1 new trail).
- Record your hikes on AllTrails.
- Hand in your final report to the Coliseum at the end of week 6.
Purpose:
- To get addicted to the outdoors!
- Burn calories and breath fresh air.
- To go exploring!
9. Wallyball Fit Group & Tournament
It's volleyball in the racquetball court. The rules are slightly different, funky and a ton of fun. Every Wednesday at 2:45 will be pick up games and practice. Friday's at 1:45 will be tournament time! Teams of 3 will compete, co-ed is fine. All players will receive t-shirts and the winning team will win Coliseum cash and down right braggin' rights!
The games will commence Friday, October 7th! Simply reply to enter your team.
10. Group Class Junkie Contest!
Prove your loyalty and love by attending as many group fitness classes in October as you can! Simply check in with mindbody to record your visit. We have over 55 onsite classes every week and every style of training you can think of! The better is always in the balance.
The top 10 will receive Coliseum cash, t-shirts and be crowned official Group Class Junkies!
