#Attendancematters. One building goal we will be focusing on here at NUHS is improving our chronic attendance numbers. Our attendance percentage last year was 88%. We are looking to improve that to 94% this year and your help is CRITICAL in helping with this. Our administration and staff will begin looking at ways to help with this from the top down. Did you know.... Students who miss just 2 days a month will end up missing 10% of their school for the year, approximately 126 hours.
Our CTE programs are looking at creative ways to connect students with jobs that align with our curriculum especially in the area of Agriculture, Business, Engineering, Nursing, and Information Technology. If you are someone who can help us with this please contact the school!

Spring Sprots
Spring Sports Season...Please Remember.
Fan Fair Play Code (OHSAA "Respect the Game" Message)
I will remember that young people play sports for THEIR enjoyment.
- I will have a realistic expectations and will understand that doing one's best is just as important as winning. I understand that ridiculing an athlete for making a mistake is not acceptable behavior.
- I will respect the official's decisions and will encourage others do the same.
- I will respect and show appreciation for the coaches and understand that they have given their time to provide sport activities for our young people.
- I will encourage athletes and coaches to play by the rules and to resolve conflicts without resorting to hostility or violence.
- I will show respect for my team's opponents because I realize without them there would be no game.
- I will not use bad language and will not harass athletes, coaches, officials or other spectators.
- I will always show good sportsmanship. Young people learn by example.
Games get heated, we are passionate about our wildcats, and we love our kids. Let's show them our support every game by presenting ourselves as adults, parents, and staff that adhere to values and character that model positive behavior. Go Wildcats!
