AMS Scavenger Hunt Winners!
Congratulations to the Ashland Middle School Scavenger Hunt team who won the State of Jefferson Scavenger Hunt Competition put on by the Youth Programs at SOU. They completed on December 12th with over 400 students from 15 schools around the Rogue Valley and AMS came out on top!
The State of Jefferson Middle School Scavenger Hunt is a unique opportunity for students to develop research and critical-thinking skills. Students spend three days using library and community resources to find answers and document the sources of their findings. The team then pits these findings against other middle school teams in a fourth-day adjudication process. The experience is both an incredibly rich and fun one for students.
