Return to School Update
On Monday, October 12 the Fraser Board of Education voted to return to school on November 30th. We are working on a 1/2 day schedule for face-to-face (7:30-10:46am) and 1/2 day day schedule for virtual (11:22-2:18pm). We will be following a Blue and Gold Day Calendar, Monday through Friday (no asynchronous Fridays). Please look for the Enrollment Letter coming from the district to chose face-to-face or virtual. There will be two choices to make:
1. The rest of first semester until January 22nd (Face-toFace or Virtual)
2. Second Semester-January 25th (Face-toFace or Virtual)
If you have any questions please email me at Ryan.Sines@FraserK12.org.
Sincerely,
Ryan D. Sines, Ed.S.
9th Grade PSAT Test - Friday, October 23rd
Dear Parent/Guardian of a Freshmen:
If your child is scheduled to take the PSAT 9, they will take this exam on Friday, October 23rd. The PSAT 9 is a test that will help you and your child’s teachers identify what they need to work on most so that they’re ready for college when they graduate from high school. This test mirrors the same skills and knowledge as the SAT, the college entrance exam they will take in 11th grade. FREE BREAKFAST, in the cafeteria, will be offered to all students who are testing.
Students should report at normal start time and no later than 7:30 am. Please have your child check their email for location details. No late entries will be allowed. Students will be released at 11:00 am. Bus transportation will be provided for those in district. Please check the bus schedule for pick up times and stops at http://www.infofinderi.com/ifi/?cid=FPS22ENQ11P9
Please have your child bring a pencil and a calculator for testing. NO calculators will be supplied. Students MUST wear mask the entire time they are in the building. No entry will be allowed without it. The make up for this exam will be October 30th. If they are unable to attend on the 23rd, they will automatically be scheduled to attend the make up the exam on October 30th. Please have your child check blackboard for any asynchronous assignments that may have been posted from teachers on test day. Their attendance will be coded as F2F which means face to face.
Here is a link to the PSAT 9 student guide that gives parents and students helpful information about the PSAT 9 including a practice exam. https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/pdf/psat-8-9-student-guide.pdf
Official practice can also be done at Khan Academy at https://www.khanacademy.org/sat
If you have not signed up and would like your student to take the PSAT, please email Mrs. Kalpin at Stacy.Kalpin@FraserK12.org by Monday, October 19th. We will not accept any more submission after Monday.
All students must complete this health screener prior to entering the building: https://form.jotform.com/202427445970154

Yearbook Information
Yearbooks are on sale now. Purchase books safely on line at www.JostensYearbooks.com
Books are $70 plus tax online and the price goes up to $75 in January.
You may also send cash or check payable to Fraser High School for $70 to the high school main office. Please include your student’s name and grade with the check or cash.
Seniors it is time to take your Senior Portraits. The photo you take as a senior for your student ID is NOT the photo we use for your senior year in the yearbook. It is a special year so we need a special photo taken by a professional photographer. We strongly suggest Sieloff Studios http://www.sieloffstudio.com/
Sitting fees are reasonable. Deadline for submitting your photo is December 12th. If the cost of a sitting is an issue please email Mr. Flanagan about alternative options.
Keep an eye out for an email with specific photo specifications.
Senior Parents!!
It is time to start celebrating your seniors. The perfect way is with a special Senior Ad in the back of the yearbook. Ad start at as little as $80. You can help design your own ad online. Watch for an email with more details or go to www.JostensYearbooks.com to plan and design the celebration for your Senior.
