US Army Food Inspection Requirements
you will need;
- 95 in Skilled Technical
- An 85 in Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery(ASVAB for short)
- Interests in cooking, Home economics, health, mathematics, accounting, & Chemistry
- 10 years in basic combat training&8 weeks of advanced individual training (Including: food/safety & quality assurance
Some skills you will learn;
- Inspection of red meats, poultry, water foods, eggs, dairy products, and fresh fruits and vegetables
- Identify unsanitary conditions in food storage facilities
The Duties of US Army Food Inspection
- Evaluate packaging , packing and marking requirements
- Identify unsanitary conditions in food storage facilities and commissary stores
- Operate and Maintain inspection equipment
- Perform duties in accordance with approved standards of conduct and report suspected fraud
