Namib Desert
The name "Namib" is of Nama origin and means vast. It is considered to be the oldest dessert in the world. Namib Desert has less than 10 mm of rain annually and is almost completely bare. There are some sand dunes, which are more than 300 meters high are the tallest sand dunes in the world. There are temperature's from, lowest 0° and highest 50°C.
Cape of Good Hope
The southernmost tip of south Africa's Cape Peninsula is called the Cape of Good Hope. It is known for the stormy weather and rough seas. One of the southernmost points in Africa, it is the most famous capes in maritime history. Its discovery by Europeans in the 15th century made the first all-water route from Europe to Asia.
Johannesburg
Johannesburg is the largest city in South Africa, by population. Johannesburg is important Because Johannesburg is the economic hub of South Africa and its richest city in south Africa.
Zambezi River
The Zambezi river is a river that flows though Africa and into the Indian Ocean. It is important because people have use the Zambezi's strong current to produce electricity. Tourists from around the world visit these falls, which, too, provides a great money source for Africa's economy.
