MHS Wrestling Teams Dominate at State Meet
Congratulations to the Melissa High School Wrestling teams for dominating the wrestling mats at the UIL State Meet on Saturday, Feb. 17. The MHS Boys Wrestling Team left the meet as the 2024 UIL Wrestling State Runner-Ups along with two titled State Champions and three other wrestlers who placed in their weight class. The MHS Girls Wrestling ended the meet with one titled State Runner-Up in their weight class. Melissa High School's Career and Technical Education (CTE) program has 13 talented students who are heading to the SkillsUSA State Contest! They competed across various chapters in the SkillsUSA District Contest, advancing in Applied Engineering, Barbering, Computer Programming, Cosmetology, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Technology Computer Applications.
