Third Week of Advent
The Gospel reading for today tells us that God sent a man, John the Baptist, to tell about the light--Jesus--so that everyone would believe. John wasn't the light. He only came to tell others about the light. Jesus is the one true light, who gives light to everyone. At this time of year, we see lights everywhere that remind us of the coming of Jesus, the true light that John told about. Those lights can help us remember that Jesus is the one true light in our hearts and in our lives. Jesus brought light into the darkness of this world. We’re thankful for the light -the hope, joy, love, and peace Jesus brings us.

Donations received through this campaign will go towards purchasing gifts, stockings, and Christmas trees for over 100 women and children currently seeking refuge at CSS shelters.
We encourage staff, students and families to make a donation and help bring joy to someone in need this holiday season.

Library Corner
Library is running smooth and safely at Holy Redeemer!
After checking in their returning books, students then place those books in the quarantine boxes, then sanitize their hands. Books need to be quarantined for 72 hours. Our books have a longer isolation period to keep them extra safe. At that time they will get reshelf.
For social distancing purposes, 3-5 students are allowed at the shelves at a time to pick new books.
Students are doing great following all new regulations in the library. I am very proud of them all for doing their part to keep our Library safe.
