Band Booster Meeting
Band Booster Nominations
The Nomination Committee is still in search of band parents who would like to serve on the band boosters executive board.
If you are innovative and creative, enjoy meeting new people and love to help organize and plan events then you would be a great fit! If you would love to serve, but have not been asked, please know that you do not need to be nominated to be considered and can write in your name on the ballot at the April 9th boosters meeting.
There are 3 positions needed to complete next year’s board and 3 eligibility criteria to serve. Each position serves for two, consecutive years which makes parents of current freshmen and sophomores ideal candidates. Each position will serve in the elect role for one year and then become President, Vice President and Treasurer (respectively) the following year.
The positions are:
1. President Elect
2. Vice President Elect
3. Treasurer Elect
The criteria are:
1. Be in good standing with the band
2. Have been an active volunteer
3. Have a willingness to serve
Please reach out to any of the committee members listed below to nominate yourself or if you know a parent who would be a great asset to the boosters, please let them know that you plan to give the committee their name.

Corpus Christi Spring Band Trip Update
The spring trip to Corpus Christi is right around the corner! The great news is that due to the number of students attending, the cost per person has turned out to be lower than expected.
The cost per person has been lowered from $600 to $550. Since most travelers have already paid the full $600, the extra $50 has been transferred to student accounts and can be used toward unpaid and future band fees, TSSEC fees, and band banquet tickets.
If you have outstanding payments left on the trip, then it will only be necessary to pay toward the reduced $550 cost. The final balance is currently due. If you are unsure of how much you’ve paid to date, you can find all of your student’s band financial information on www.charmsoffice.com.
