Ms. Resnick - PreK Speech Pathologist
We appreciate the River Bluff High School baseball and softball players for joining us this morning to welcome the students as they got off the bus and arrived by car. They also stayed around for morning meeting and joined in with students in their classrooms briefly. The students love seeing them and we hope they will come back soon. We will be cheering them on as their season's get underway!
Thank you to everyone who donated to the Relay For Life Coin drive benefitting American Cancer Society as they continue their hard work trying to find treatments and cures to all cancers. A total of $342.89 was donated in the administrations buckets! That is wonderful!
Congratulations to Principal Graham for raising the most money at $130.48 and our awesome Assistant Principals not far behind. Ms. Johnson raised $106.24 and Ms. Anderson raised $106.17 in her bucket.
COMING SOON: Watch for the video of Ms. Graham honoring her part of this challenge and doing the ice bucket challenge. Don't blink as you never know what may happen!

We have two first grade students who have reached 500 steps in their RED reading logs!
Congratulations to Isabella and Gravity from Ms. Sims' class.
Isabella and Gravity have their names on the RED Reading Wall for getting to 50 steps and have received five free books this school year - one for each time they completed another 100 steps. Their pictures have been posted on a special spot outside the library for reaching 500 steps
Who Was Caught This Week?
Our school motto is Be Kind, Work Hard, Be Brave. As students are witnessed showing these qualities, teachers and staff put that student's name in for a weekly drawing. Those students whose names are drawn are announced on the Friday's OGE News Show and then meet with Principal Graham in the office where they are congratulated, have their picture taken for the school newsletter and given a prize. We are always so proud of every student for doing the right thing and showing that they are being kind, working hard and being brave.
