Romeo & Juliet @ the Wilma -FREE!
Friday, January 25, 2019, 7 PM
Meet at TU Barnes & Noble
Happy 2019! Celebrate with us by attending the first F3T of the new year! You've probably read Romeo & Juliet. Or maybe you've seen one of the movies - the one by Zeffirelli, or the one with Leo, or even the new one with Hailee? Or maybe you've been living out of the loop for all this time? Either way - we've got a live theatrical take for you! Artistic Director of the Wilma Theater, Blanka Zizka, helms a contemporary retelling of Shakespeare’s most famous tragedy. What does a younger generation inherit from the choices of its elder? What happens when unconditional love confronts unforgivable violence? Come with us to find out!
We will meet at the Barnes & Noble on the corner of Broad & Cecil at 7pm and leave for the subway once we've got everyone checked in. We MUST leave no later than 7:15pm. You will be provided with admission to the show FOR FREE but will need to pay your own subway fare! Space is limited, so be sure to register for your ticket ASAP!
