What Makes a Dream Team?
This year's Dream Team has committed themselves to looking into and designing activities and lessons that follow our district's approved curricula and the Colorado State Standards. We are implementing interim assessments on a 7-8 week basis where we are digging deeper into standards that show proficiency levels. Reteaching will be built into the schedule. The Dream Team has a vision of high academic expectations for all students.
Tardy Notice
In an unavoidable situation, a student detained by another teacher or administrator will NOT be considered tardy, provided that the teacher or administrator gives the student a pass to enter his/her next class. Teachers will honor passes presented in accordance with this policy. All tardies must be called in within 48 hours of occurrence. A tardy will not be excused after 48 hours.
CHANGE: Students who have 4 unexcused tardies in one week, will follow the community service plan or be held in detention. This report will be pulled on Thursdays at 3:15. Parents and students will then be notified that on Monday the following week, detention and the community service plan will be put into action.
Sargent Mourns
It is with a heavy heart that we, the Sargent Staff, want to inform you of the passing of Mrs. Mary Garcia.
A benefit dinner for the family to help with hospital and funeral expenses will be on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 6pm in the Sargent cafeteria. There will be a $5.00 potato bar dinner. Donations will also be accepted.
