Cougar Nation Announcements
March 25, 2020
Dear Parents,
We are halfway through the first week of distance learning and we are blessed that it is going so well. The teachers have enjoyed getting re-connected with their students. They have really missed them. We also know that the students have loved reconnecting with their teachers and classmates.
As we go through this uncertain journey together, the distance learning process will evolve, and we will make adjustments as we go. The key element is to please stay in touch with your teachers and let them know what is working well and what is not working well. If you have any suggestions on how we can better partner with you, please contact Mr. Evans or Mrs. Zucha. We are in this together.
If your teacher is using some type of video conferencing tool, don't forget that your child probably doesn't want to be eating and should have appropriate clothing on. The rules that apply in the classroom also apply when your child is video conferencing.

Information for Jazzcats and Junior Jazzcats Tryout
We were originally scheduled to have our tryout camp and tryouts this week. Due to the circumstances with COVID-19, plans have changed. I have been in contact with directors at other schools and this year the consensus is conducting "virtual" tryouts. I am working on the specific details of how this will work and will get an information packet sent out soon. What I need from parents is to know who is interested in trying out. All current team members must tryout again, except for current juniors already on the team. The rule is that those team members are automatically on for their senior year. Everyone else must tryout again. Anyone wanting to join the team must also tryout.
All students currently in 6 and 7 grade may tryout for Jr. Jazzcats and all students currently in 8-11 grade may tryout for Jazzcats.
I really need to know how many people are interested so I can make the best virtual tryout system. Please email me at bfuselier@reicher org ASAP so that I can put together a list.
Looking forward to having another great team.

Important Information for Cheer Tryouts
All students currently in 6 and 7 grade may tryout for Junior High cheer. Originally, we were going to have tryouts next week, but we will now plan to do virtual tryouts instead.
I really need to know how many people are interested so I can make the best virtual tryout system. Please email me at akubacak@stlouiswaco.org ASAP so that I can put together a list and send you the forms virtually to fill out to be able to tryout.
Looking forward to having another great team.

Isaiah 40:11
You are not alone.
You are not forgotten.
You are loved.
He will feed his flock like a shepherd.
He will carry the lambs in his arms,
holding them close to his heart.
He will gently lead the mother sheep with their young.
