Focusing on FAFSA
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the means by which students determine financial aid eligibility to fund their college or career school education. As our advisors meet students within the Jackson school districts, and in our Center, FAFSA completion is an area of assistance that we continually provide and measure. As of March 15th, the CCAC has tracked 58.2% FAFSA completion among students from the 13 Connected Community Schools. We are striving for 74% countywide FAFSA completion by the end of August, and are working diligently toward reaching that goal.
The College & Career Access Center Honored by Jackson Junior Welfare League
On March 9, The College & Career Access Center was one of 3 award recipients at the Jackson Junior Welfare League's annual fundraising gala. Along with the Jackson Symphony Orchestra, and Jackson's 4 H, the CCAC received generous contributions from the many supporters and
partners in Jackson County. It was an evening of celebration and also recognition of the incredible work being done within our community. The CCAC is honored to be a part of the positive change that is continually increasing the potential for success of Jackson's residents.
