How the Royals Came to be
The Royals Playoff Accomplishments
1980- The Royals made their first appearance in the world series but sadly lost to the Philadelphia Phillies in six games.
1985- The Royals made another appearance in the ALCS playing against the Toronto Blue Jays. The Royals eventually won the series in a blowout game that the Royals won 6-2.
1985-The Royals played the Cardinals in the World Series. They won the title in game seven with a score of 11-0.
2014-The Royals shocked the world by winning their first nine playoff games, but only to be beat by the Giants in the World Series losing it all in Game 7.
2015- As manager Ned Yost said, "We have unfinished business!" The Royals sure did complete that business by winning not only the ALCS, but also winning their first World Series title in thirty years. The Royals won the World Series in six games against the New York Mets.
Royals and their Off season Journey
There has also been a trade rumor going around involving the Reds right fielder Jay Bruce. Bruce although is on the last year of his contract and could be another expensive price tag on top of stars such as Salvador Perez, Eric Hosmer, and Lorenzo Cain next year.
