Principal's Memo
February 12-16, 2024
A Message from Dr. Harris
Henderson Family!
We've had a great week at Henderson. Last week, we celebrated our School Counselors. They have been an integral part of us taking care of the "Whole Child". In addition, we competed in the regional Griffin RESA Literacy Days where we had 2 1st place winners in writing and our drama duo came in 2nd place. We had our 1st home game soccer matches, and baseball is up and running as well. Please see below for the updates in sports, list of students who made the spring teams, and the list of participants in the Literacy Days competition.
We ended the week with our Winter Ball. I appreciate your patience as we safely admitted and dismissed 350 students to their parents. I know that the wait was more than expected, but this was was a large event with about 320 vehicles passing through our campus. I am proud of my students' behavior during the event. We all had a blast!
