Solar Eclipse
On Monday, April 8 we will experience a partial solar eclipse! We will experience 91% here in West Bridgewater. The first coverage will begin at 2:16 PM with 91% occurring at 3:29. The whole eclipse will end at 4:39 PM. When watching a partial or annular solar eclipse directly with your eyes, you must look through safe solar viewing glasses (“eclipse glasses”) or a safe handheld solar viewer at all times. Eclipse glasses are NOT regular sunglasses; regular sunglasses, no matter how dark, are not safe for viewing the Sun.
Howard Drink, Cell Phone, & Smart Watch Reminder
Dear Families,
It’s hard to believe we are more than halfway through our school year together! As we return from February break, I wanted to share a few friendly reminders with you.
Please remember to send a water bottle to school each day.
In an effort to avoid sticky spills, only water will be allowed in the classrooms with the exception of snack time. Dunkin Doughnuts coolatas, hot chocolate, etc. are not permitted. Students will be asked to take their last sip and throw them out in the café.
Per the student handbook, cell phones and smart watches are not allowed during the school day, unless given permission from a staff member. Please remind your child that these items should be turned off and stored in backpacks during the school day.
Thank you for your support,
Principal Leeman
