Playground Reminders
The weather is warmer and we are thrilled to see so many families gathering at the Green Meadow playground. A few quick reminders:
* Please remind your child not to run through the bus circle during dismissal for their own safety, and for the safety of our drivers and riders. We have four buses, two school vans, and the Boys & Girls Club van that need to load and get their routes started.
* Please do not allow your child to kick soccer balls against the building or on the roof.
* Please gather any trash from afternoon snacks to help keep our playground clean.
Thanks for your help!

Bingo for Books
Bingo for Books was a bit hit Thursday evening! Families played rounds of bingo and everyone was a winner. Families also had an opportunity to play two math games and take materials home with them. March 14 was Pi Day, which celebrates the number that represents the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter, and is often written as 3.14. Each family received two small pies donated by Table Talk Pie Company, in Worcester.
If you were unable to join us this year we hope you will be able to attend next year.
Read Across America Challenge Comes to an End
The challenge officially ends Friday, March 15. Students may return their completed Read Across America Challenges by Wednesday, March 20. Just because this challenge is over we hope you do not stop reading at home!
Welcome to the Counselor's Corner!
Is your child struggling at home? At school? Do you notice a change in their behavior or the way they manage their emotions? Parents often wonder about whether or not their child might need mental health support from a professional. In addition to reaching out to the school counselors for guidance, here are 5 Signs Your Child Might Need a Therapist to inform you. Additionally, this video about Mental Health Literacy for Parents can provide a foundation about the basics of mental health. Knowledge is power! Additional SEL resources can be found on the Green Meadow Social Emotional Learning Resources website.
