Music Notes
Chorus News! Don't forget to pre-order your 2 tickets for Aladdin Jr. Tickets will go on sale to the entire school/community this month and it won't take long to sell out. Don't forget for the month of March all rehearsals go until 5:30. The date are: March 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 26, 31, April 1, 2. April 3rd is our Dinner Theater and students will stay with us until our program is over. Then on Monday, April 6th students will go home after school and return by 5:00 for our PTA performance. An exciting time for our kids! Watch for notes that may come home about things they will need for their costumes.
K4 and K5 are still working hard on Loud/Soft and High/Low. They absolutely love the Quaver Music lessons. You should ask then about Bob and Dylan and what they are doing in their lessons. 1st Grade is doing amazing in the Piano Lab. They are totally amazed when they pass a song. You should have seen their faces light up when they realized they could play Mary Had A Little Lamb- it was priceless. 2nd is having fun on the Boomwhackers. Still working on songs with only 3 notes, but they are reading music! 3rd-5th are now rockin' on Recorder Karate. I know you are all enjoying having them practice at home EVERY DAY. I mean, who doesn't like hearing Hot Cross Buns 1000's of time each week? Hang in there, it will get better.
P.E. Lines
It is imperative that ALL students wear tennis shoes to PE. We have had more students without them than normal, and this limits participation, due to safety concerns. Please help your child remember to wear tennis shoes on their PE day.
ATTENTION RUNNING CLUB MEMBERS: All members who ordered the running club t-shirt, you can expect to receive them at the running club meeting on March 16th. If you are unable to attend that meeting, the shirt will be sent home the next school day.
Please remember that, unfortunately, returns can not be made on those. If the date to receive them changes, you will be notified as soon as possible.STEM Lab Notes
