Ellis Island Arrival
Lots of people are arriving today! If anyone has/had any kind of sickness then they could not come through. Only two percent of the Americans were turned down and could not come through. Some husbands left wives and children behind. Most of the ships that were coming to Ellis Island were packed with people. Most people have ancestors who once passed through Ellis Island.
Arrival of immigrants at Ellis Island circa 1906.
