"DON'T RIDE THE BUS"

PURPOSE:
- Non-violent protest to end racial segregated seating on the city bus system.
- If we don't ride the buses then it will create a serious economic hardship for the city transit system.
INSTEAD TAKE A CAB, CARPOOL, OR WALK!
LEADERS:
Rosa Parks
She is the secretary of the NAACP. She has been arrested and fined because she refused to surrender her seat on the bus for a white man.
Martin Luther King
As an American Baptist minister and the leader of the MIA, he is setting up a proposal for a fixed diving line for the segregated sections of the buses.
