Happy Mother's Day!
Happy mother's day to so many wonderful women in our building! You are not only a mother to your own children but also a mother to the 100+ students you interact with on a daily basis.
Thank you for making the world run!
Collaboration
We will meet as a group tomorrow morning in the library. We will be going over grading policy ideas for next school year.
Hallway Supervision
Continue to be visible in the hallways during passing periods. Encourage students to get to class and correct any misbehavior you may witness. More importantly be there to talk with students and form relationships.
This is very important as the school year comes to a close!
End of Year Awards
Our end of year awards program is on Tuesday the 23rd at 6:00. This will be at the high school again this school year. We really want any available staff to attend this evening. Our kids really do enjoy you being there and parents like to see your support. We also need individuals to help with making the evening go smooth. Please let Lisa know if you plan on attending that evening so she can figure out where everyone is helping.
Civil War Day
Our annual Civil War day is coming up quickly! The social studies department has been hard at work planning this day for our students. On May 22nd students will be going outside to experience the Civil War during social studies classes. Be prepared for the cannon fire!
Cedar Point Meeting
On Monday I will be calling students attending the Cedar Point trip to the auditorium for a brief meeting.
If you're out, turn it out
Keep that saying in mind with your energy consumption. If you are out of your room, turn the lights off. Before you leave each evening take a look around and turn off power strips, TVs, monitors, etc...
