Message from the Principal
Whispering Pines Families,
As we finish up the first 4 weeks of school please make sure you check HAC for your 3-5th graders progress report. The district no longer sends home paper copies of report cards or progress reports.
If you do not know what your log in is then contact us through email Janette.Lopez@humbleisd.net or call us up and we will get your information to you.
There is A LOT of information that flows through HAC such as their unique ID for STAAR reports through the state, grades, enrollment, their student ID for lunches etc. and in middle and high school their schedule as well as their grades and their class ranking.

Positive Affirmation
Positive affirmations will lead to positive thinking. Get our Panda’s day started on a positive note by having them say a positive affirmation everyday.
Try one of these affirmations this week…
There is no one better to be than myself
I am proud of myself
Don't let your mind kill your spirit with negative talk
The Great 8
Try this activity to practice optimistic thinking this week. Write “Our Family” in the middle of a piece of construction paper and add a comment or two about your family’s strengths. Invite other family members to add their comments. Hang this in a high-traffic area of your home so it can be added to and enjoyed.
